what is reiki?
Reiki is a Japanese stress reducing technique which harnesses the body's energy to support self-healing. Our energy centers, known as chakras, frequently fall out of balance. Translating as "Universal Life Energy," Reiki aims to facilitate healing across emotional, mental, physical, and spiritual realms. Notably, Reiki operates with gentleness and compassion, posing no harm to individuals. It intuitively navigates to areas needing attention, even when we are unaware of them.

Donna has trained for and is certified as both an Usui / Holy Fire, Karuna Reiki® and USUI Animal Reiki Master, Practitioner and Teacher. She is an affiliate member of the (RMA) Reiki Membership Association and has been practicing reiki for eight years (and counting!) In addition, she is certified as an Advanced Certified Grief Recovery Method Specialist and Helping Children with Loss.
She prides herself on her intuition, her honesty, and on being able to listen beyond the words being spoken. She is inspired to always be learning and extending her lifelong journey of helping and supporting others by offering Reiki.
Donna loves to use crystals, oracle and tarot cards and above all, her own intuition to craft each reiki session as unique as her clientele. She has also learned to trust her gift of mediumship and continues to develop this skill on her quest to always be helping others.
When not practicing reiki, Donna is a classically trained pianist and vocalist who sings with the Tanglewood Festival Chorus (the resident choir of the Boston Symphony Orchestra) and as soprano section leader for the Hancock United Church of Christ in Lexington. She loves to bake and is completely self-taught. Donna credits Julia Child and every library’s cookbook collection for feeding her never tiring inspiration for baking.

Crystals are a gentle and natural complement to Reiki. Their unique energetic qualities offer another layer of support in your journey towards deeper self-love, self-acceptance, and intuitive healing. Discover how the use of crystals in conjunction with Reiki can be a powerful and holistic therapy to help you improve your life!
The initial crystal Reiki session will include client intake, brief explanation of crystals, Reiki receiving and sharing of messages/outtake/oracle cards. Each session is unique and specific to the client.
A set of crystals has been carefully selected to enhance each of your chakras (or energy centers) and will be placed on or next to your body during your Reiki session. At the end of the session these crystals will be yours to take home and enjoy. Repeat crystal Reiki clients should bring their crystals to their next Reiki session!

Donna is also an Usui Animal Reiki Master and is pleased to be able to offer animal reiki sessions for your furbaby. Please note that this is a DISTANT reiki session. Please provide Donna with a clear full body shot showing the eyes of your pet .
There is no set time appointment needed. Upon receipt of payment, photo and completing the intake form, the distant reiki session will be completed within 48 hours and you will be emailed a reiki report. (If you select an animal reiki session along with booking another reiki session, enjoy an $11 discount off the total of both services!) BOOKING SOON

Reiki has no boundaries to time or distance. Distant/Remote reiki sessions are conducted in a very similar manner of in-person reiki sessions but you will be in the comfort of your own home.
Your distant reiki & intuitive healing session includes:
1) filling out an intake form (sent to you after you book a session)
2) an intake phone call/zoom session to discuss your intake form and your intention for the session (up to 15 minutes)
3) distant reiki session (30 minutes)
4) post- session phone call/ zoom call (up to 15 minutes)
Please send an unfiltered photo (the more recent the better) of yourself and please make sure I can see your entire face - especially your eyes. (ie: taking a selfie of yourself as soon as you book a session with me is great!) Instructions on how to send me a photo will be sent with the intake form.
Once your picture has been received, I will be in contact to schedule the details of your distant reiki session.

There were quite a few things that resonated with me after hearing about the reiki session. I adopted my dog, Peaches, without meeting her in person. I felt instantly drawn to her picture. Donna mentioned that Peaches was like my therapy dog, and she was correct. Peaches is a tremendous source of comfort for the family when we are having a bad day, or just need a few cuddles. Her presence alone is soothing to anyone. The unconditional love that Donna felt from Peaches is completely accurate, and our family is so glad she feels loved by us. Donna mentioned that Peaches is always listening, and this is certainly the case. We have two other dogs, and Peaches listens so attentively and concentrates so hard with what we say, more than the other dogs do. ICRT Animal Reiki is a powerful new energy which is a wonderful compliment to reiki for humans. This energy, combined with the techniques included, not only heals our animal companions but also heals their caregivers and the special relationships they have together.
As an ICRT Animal Reiki Master, Donna is pleased to be able to offer animal reiki sessions for your furbaby. Please note that this is a DISTANT reiki session. You will need to provide a full and clear photo showing your pet’s eyes. There is no set time appointment needed. Once Donna has conducted the distant reiki session, you will be emailed a one page report.
